Guided Trekking Tours in the Alps

Breaking free, every once in a while, from the demands of everyday life. Leaving behind the small — and sometimes not so small — annoyances and worries that keep circling in our minds. Finding balance again in a natural, healthy, and authentic environment. Challenging ourselves with something a little more ambitious than usual. Who hasn’t thought about doing that at least once?

Guided trekking tours in the Alps and other natural environments are the perfect answer to these desires.

The word “trekking” comes from the English language and refers to multi-day hiking itineraries that unfold over several stages. Classic examples include the Tour du Mont Blanc, the famous “Alta Via” routes in the Italian Alps, and legendary treks in Nepal or the Andes.
To truly appreciate a trekking experience, it should be lived at the right pace: walking without rushing, taking time to look around, absorb the landscapes, and fully enjoy the nature all around you.

Alpmagic provides its International Mountain Leaders to international trekking agencies and tour operators organizing guided trekking tours in the Alps for their clients.
Upon request, we also organize multi-day guided treks in Italy and in many spectacular destinations around the world for private individuals and groups.

Guided trekking tours in the Alps: What they are

Guided trekking tours in the Alps are multi-day hiking itineraries that follow some of the most iconic mountain routes. These include the Tour du Mont Blanc, the Tour of Monte Rosa, the Alta Via routes of Aosta Valley, the Alta Via della Valmalenco, the Alta Via routes of the Dolomites, the Alta Via delle Orobie, and the Tour of Monviso. And of course, there are the legendary trekking routes in Nepal around the giants of the Himalayas, as well as treks in the Andes and Patagonia.
These treks are designed and organized by highly experienced international trekking agencies specializing in adventure travel.

Each itinerary differs in distance, elevation gain, and difficulty level. All of these aspects are clearly described in detail in the trip information sheet. Treks usually include anywhere from 3 to several stages, with overnight stays in mountain huts, hostels, hotels, and occasionally even tents.
They are designed for groups of approximately 9–12 participants. During the planning phase, we do our best to create groups that are as compatible as possible, allowing everyone to fully enjoy the experience.

Upon request from individuals or private groups, Alpmagic can also design and organize tailor-made guided trekking tours.
